In 2023, we celebrated our 2nd annual Unconventional Awards, establishing a new tradition of breaking with tradition by putting our most innovative customers in the spotlight.

 
 
 

Challenge

T-Mobile for Business needed to stand out at an industry trade show—and elevate its position as a bold, enterprise-ready partner. But another dry panel or standard awards presentation wouldn’t cut it. The challenge was to reimagine the typical corporate event into something unforgettable, while celebrating the unconventional thinking of T-Mobile’s B2B customers.

Solution

As Creative Lead, I led the transformation of a routine trade show activation into the Unconventional Awards—a showstopping, first-class award experience that reflected the bold spirit of our brand and our customers. I assembled and directed a cross-functional team of designers, writers, 3D artists, and live event producers to bring the concept to life—from stage design and show flow to digital content and physical storytelling.

We celebrated real business innovation by honoring customers who used T-Mobile’s technology in unexpected ways, and wrapped it in an experience that broke from the typical B2B mold. I also oversaw promotional support across social and web, extending the campaign beyond the event floor.

The result: an award-winning campaign that wowed internal stakeholders and external audiences alike—earning recognition for its originality, and reinforcing T-Mobile’s commitment to elevating enterprise innovation with unconventional energy.
